We can help each other (Elena)

Alyssa stepped out of her car into the rain and ran into a cafe nearby. She needed a coffee right away. She smiled at the Barista and placed her usual order, a caramel iced latte with whipped cream. She sat down and looked at her watch. She had recieved a letter from a girl named Elena about meeting up to talk about Jacob. She was worried and had no idea where Jacob was. She knew she hadnt seen him in almost a year. She missed him. Maybe this Elena girl could help her find him.

Elena had only been in Forks for only a couple days, and it seemed to be just like Mystic Falls. And she had no clue where Damon had been, but she had been meeting some sort of girl who had lost someone too. Elena had no clue what this Volturi that Stefan had been taken captive by. She had been worried, because she was not willing to lose another person she knew she lost enough.

The twenty-five year old entered this coffee shop as she had been drenched in rain, and shaking her head as she soon spotted a girl. Elena had a feeling that was the girl she was going to talk to about Stefan. Elena walked over to the girl as she soon let out a smile as she looked at her with a smile.

" You must be Alyssa? "asked Elena.

Alyssa looked up and smiled, her golden eyes sparkling a bit "And you must be Elena. Im sorry you lost your Stephan. I understand. I lost someone to the Volturi too. But I know how we can get them back." She said with a smile "Sit." She said softly as she sipped her drink, holding her cup in both hands. SHe sighed and set the cup down after a moment "The Volturi are the closest things we Vampires have to Royalty. Yes I say we. I am a Vampire. I know that you know about Vampires since you are friends with Damon and Stephan Salvatore. Yes, I know the Salvatore brothers very well." She said laughing a bit

Elena had been determined to find Stefan, and in her mind she cared much more than Damon. But then again she knew that was probably wrong, watching Alyssa with her arms crossed she looked and she said. " Last time I checked I was Elena, and you know about this so called Volturi? " hesitating as she thought.  Ever since she received that letter it seemed to make her wonder who was this mysterious Volturi group.

When she was instructed to sit she took a seat as she had so many questions, " Vampire royalty? Kind of reminds me of the Mikaelsons, who from what I know were the Original Vampires. And I kind of got the idea, since what human would know of this so called Volturi. " she sighed, even though at one point she had been a vampire. But had been cured, she sat back in the chair as she asked.

" I am fully aware of vampires. " said Elena, as she had been one at one point. But was unsure if she should tell a complete stranger that she was a vampire at one point. Elena looked out the window, then bringing her attention back to Alyssa as she said she knew the brothers she asked. " You know them? " but then it seemed possible, since the brothers knew multiple people it seemed.

Elena put her hands the table, " You also said you know how to stop the Volturi right? How the hell do we stop them, you seem pretty knowledgeable on these Volturi people. "

Alyssa smiled and nodded "Yes I know the Salvatore brothers. Damon more than Stephan. But that is neither here nor there. Just a riddled story of my short time of being immortal. They helped me when I needed help. Before I returned back to Forks. Now the Volturi, the Volturi are always searching for Vampires with special abilities to take into their... collection, for lack of a better word." She sighed and lifted her head to look her in the eye "I have one of these abilities. I have the ability to put thoughts into peoples heads. Make them do things I want. Whatever I want." She said before taking a slight pause and then continuing "This could prove quite useful to the Volturi. If I say I am willing to meet with them, they will jump at the opportunity. You and Damon come with me. Of course I will deny the offer to join but we get Jacob and Stephan out." She said

Elena had been sitting back looking at Alyssa, not really sure if she should trust her. Since the way this so called vampire royalty sounded made her wonder. But Elena knew that this might be the only way release her boyfriend. She nodded as she listened to Alyssa continued talking about the Volturi. " Well Damon does have a history, and so does Stefan. And they are always there to help, more so Stefan. " she hesitated as thought about that one day she would be able to be with him once again.

" So are they some cult of vampires who have powers that are beyond the usual vampire powers? " asked Elena with curiosity. Elena had been wondering if they were some sort of cult, or having ancestry to the witches. Her attention was soon drawn back when she heard her say she had powers, and she looked at her. " It is something like compelling? Or in this part of the country do vampires have different ways of life then the one's on the East coast. " since the thoughts she knew were the ones that compelled.

Elena nodded understanding, " So there power-hungry vampires your saying. But I am here to find my boyfriend, meaning I accept your offer of helping Damon and I. And as long as we get them out where fine. " looking at her as she wanted to start looking for them as soon as they can.

Alyssa smirked and nodded "That they do." She sighed and took another sip of her drink "Yes. They have extreme powers. Jane can inflict pain on people. Alec can... I dont even know what it is Alec does, but its super creepy. Aro has Tactile Telepathy. Which means he can see anything youve ever seen by touching you." When she asked if her power was like compelling and she thought for a moment and nodded "Kind of. But its more powerful. I can do it through Vervain and even to other Vampires." When she called the Volturi a cult she laughed "Yes it is basically a cult. And I promise you, we will find your boyfriend and my Jacob." She didnt know she had these feelings for Jacob until she found out he was taken. The Volturi were using him as leverage over her.

Elena before this little meeting only thought the vampires who were leaders were the Originals. And the way this Volturi sounded made the Mikaelsons seem good. She listened to them as she looked at her " So she can inflict pain with her mind or something. I am sorry if I am not knowing much about them, since where I come from the Volturi were never heard of. " sighed Elena which was the truth. Elena had been taken aback with the news and she wanted to know where the hell this Volturi was located.

" Where are they located? Are they out of the country? " asked Elena. She was surprised when she heard her say her power was more powerful and brought Vervain in. " I have heard of vervain it kills vampires and was used by vampire hunters in the past. " she said, but with that she did not know what to think. She knew when she would see Damon next she was going to ask him if he knew more about the Volturi then she did in that moment.

Elena looked, and she said " I promise I will let you help us if you keep your promise. "

"Yes they are quite awful." She said "They are located in Volterra. Italy. So I really do hope you have a passport. And yes, ervain was used in the past as a tool. But it has no effect on me. It never has. And before you ask, I have no idea why." She looked up at her next words and nodded "I always keep my promises Elena."

Elena had nodded as she had understood Alyssa, and had been surprised when she mentioned Italy. And asking her if she had a passport, she nodded as she said. " Yes I do have a passport. And I do know the idea of Vervain for things that I don't really want to talk about. Oh it doesn't? Most vampires it does have an affect on them, but you vampires out here might have different weaknesses. " as Elena listened and had a feeling this girl should not get her hopes up. Since Elena knew what it was like to be a vampire.

" Alright I take your word. " said Elena.

Alyssa smiled at Elena and stood "Great shall we go then? Do you need to gather any things. I have a private plane waiting for us at the airport to take us to Volterra. Its small, but it will get the job done. We just have to go and collect Damon before heading off to the airport."

Elena had wanted to get Stefan back as soon as she should, but she knew before anything she needed to talk to Damon, and with that she listened as Alyssa said. " Not just yet I do need to do some things. " said Elena. Which was the truth as she had been sitting back as she had wanted to talk to more people, and tell Damon about the help. Then she looked at the girl as she said. " You have a private plane? Aren't they a lot of money. " even though she knew very well that may be the quickest way without grabbing other humans attention.

And before she thought for a moment she said. " Alright. But before we go I need to talk to Damon alright. "

Alyssa stood up "Alright. Do what you have to do. We leave tomorrow though. I want to get Jacob out of there as soon as possible." She said paying for the drinks and then stepping outside into the rain. SHe put up her umbrella and turned back to Elena "Well when you guys are ready, come find me. Damon knows where I live" She said before walking to a car "Dress nice. Italy is quite beautiful this time of year."

Elena had been relieved that Alyssa had been so anxious to leave, but then again it seemed that when someone really cared about someone people would do anything. She had nodded as she said. " Got it I will have my things together by tomorrow. We will get the people that matter to us back and thank you for agreeing to help us. " as she was watched Alyssa pay for the drink and looking out she watched the rain.

" We will find you and I am sure he will tell me where you live. " she sighed, as she soon watch her leave and telling her to dress nice since Italy is a beautiful place. Causing Elena to nod as she had soon sat back saying. " I sure hope she means what she is saying. " said Elena as she soon left putting her hood up.
